Daddy I know your strength as a kiss upon my forehead

Feel the care, feel the love, and warmth of the kiss

A small sigh escapes me as you tuck me into my bed

Kisses of innocence, kisses of heart, and of love

Daddy your love I know as a kiss upon my hair, it warms me as you tuck me into bed.

May I tell you the feeling of the kiss you've placed on my head?

The soft touch on my hair tells to me you care for me but as one not mine

Feel the care, feel the love, and warmth of the kiss

My heart would rather your lips brushed my own instead

Kisses of innocence, kisses of heart, and of love

I know your concern as a kiss upon my cheek

Feel the care, feel the love, and warmth of the kiss

Daughter so dear as my time gathers to a close

Kisses of innocence, kisses of heart, and of love

Daughter so dear, as my time ends here, I know your heart in a kiss as I die in my bed.

May I tell you the feeling of the kiss you've placed on my head?

I can't tell you the feeling of those kisses time placed on my head.
