The key to life

I dove very deep

to the depths of my mind,

but the key to life

I still could not find.



I traveled very far

and saw foreign lands,

but it seems that life

had made other plans.



I made many friends

and chased many dreams,

but I found that life

wouldn’t give in, it seems.



When, at last, I gave up

and suddenly I find

the key to life

is just to be kind.
