The Joy of Cricket
A Poem of Passion, Grit, and Sportsmanship
By LejoyPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

On the green fields, cricket is played,
Batsmen and bowlers take their trade.
The ball is swung, the bat is swung,
And the chase for victory has begun.
The crowd roars as players run,
Fielders dive to stop the fun.
The game goes on till the night,
And both teams play with all their might.
In cricket, we learn to strive,
To never give up and always thrive.
For every win is hard-fought,
And every loss is a lesson taught.
So let us all play with passion,
And give the game our fullest attention.
For in cricket, we find joy and grit,
And a true sense of sportsmanship.
