Prologue
Happy holiday season! it’s time to celebrate as the year closes.
The pumpkins do it with a little dance. Though the year is reaching its end, things new will rise - AGAIN.

Sprouting seeds, thick vines that dance
Orange flesh rises
Prancing into sweetened pies
Jack’s light quickly fades
Tip-toes back to soil
And dances
New.

This is a very creative and fun peace.
Nice piece!
“Prancing into sweetened pies“ love this line. I often wonder what happens to all the discarded pumpkins? Miss my composting bin.
Another new form! Who sits around and dreams these up? Thanks, Michelle, and I love your poem of renewal!
This is so fun!
Do the pumpkin dance, all!
This would be great as a challenge, not nec a money challenge, but a fun pumpkin dancing one. Its a grand story.
Never ending circles of hope - 'prancing into sweetened pies'. A beautiful poem, Michelle.
Nature is a wonderful circle, even the delicious pie of pumpkin will eventually land there again🎃
