The Invisible Crowd...

Lost in a World That Doesn't Feel Like Mine

By Sugan Ya Published 12 months ago 1 min read

In the crowd, I vanish,
like smoke fading into the air.
The cheers crash around me,
loud waves in a storm I cannot escape.

Laughter drifts by,
like empty clouds.
Their joy feels strange—
like it doesn’t belong to me.

Relationships are fragile threads,
spun from illusions and regret.
Why depend on something
that disappears when you need it most?

They plan trips to escape,
but my dreams are different—
faraway places they’ll never understand.

If I say these things out loud,
what will they call me?
Weird, strange, out of place—
a person who doesn’t belong.

I’m stuck in this endless loop,
a maze with no exit.
Every path leads to “no.”
No light, no answers, no way out.

Will there ever be a day
when I can call the world my own?
