The Hymn Of a Fat Woman
My body is not a burden or a flaw
I am not small, I take up space,
My curves and rolls cannot be erased.
I may not fit the mold society wants,
But my size does not define my stance.
With each step, my body sways,
A hymn of confidence in all my ways.
I embrace my curves, my ample form,
And refuse to let their words conform.
I do not need their judgmental stares,
Their whispers and their mocking glares.
For I am more than just my size,
A person with a heart that beats and thrives.
So let me sing this hymn of mine,
Proudly and unapologetically divine.
For my body is not a burden or a flaw,
But a vessel that carries me through it all.
