The HIV TEST

What’s next

By Dare BadmusPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Mind travelled far into the past

Remembering every naughty moment

My undergraduate life at Yale

The addictions to skirts

The excitements at the catch

The mindless lifting

The fulfillment afterwards and the next desire to prey

Eyeing every Sandra and Mary

Tension

Fright

Depression

Regret

Ruing every step taken

Every decision made

Every hand held

Every bosom felt

Every path accessed

And every part assessed

Every dream crumbling

Promises breaking

Losing sanity

Madness about to unleash

Streets about to witness fury

Weeping

The love for family

The potential crash and sudden end

The technicians

The scientists are all part of it

The media silence

The pharmacists and the doctors

The one to blame

The government

The one to blame

Alas

The waiting over

The result here

Everything negative is good

Now I must say

I’m done with everything skirt
