To remain pure is to be set ablaze in a world that has gone cold.

She is clothed with white lilies and adorned with gold cufflinks.

Her hair sweeps past her shoulders in a bun half done.

Her veil is sheer and yet He can see through it just fine.

...

She is walking through the aisle of fire,

though she feels the heat,

though her garment is set ablaze, there is no burning up.

...

Instead, what falls off are the mites that try to tear at her gown.

To remain pure is to be set ablaze in a world that has gone cold.

She makes her way through snowy heights and wintery depths, all through the aisle of fire.

...

There are times when she leaps like a deer.

There are times when she drags her feet, for the weight of that day is so much to bear.

But, when she remembers the face of her Groom, she is renewed with a strength that far exceeds her.

...

The Joy of the Lord has put my bones back together.

Even the places that cracked under pressure have been restored.

When I was broken in half, my Savior sewed me back together,

from the base of my neck to the tip of my tail bone.

He sewed me back together.

...

He hammered in the joints of my spiritual spine,

and He made me stand taller than I ever have.

If it is His will for me to be the bride,

Then I will walk down the aisle of fire.

...

Every wintery height I have built,

every snowy castle of Babylon I labored over,

is crumbling down like Sodom and Gomorrah.

Their ruins fall off and burn like the mites on her dress.

...

I am the bride of Christ.

As I make my way down the aisle of fire,

each step more radiant than the last,

Conforming to the image of which I was made,

To the glory of our Father in Heaven.

Amen.
