The Heart That Won’t Stand Still

A Song for the Wild-Hearted

By The best writer Published about a month ago 1 min read

There’s a fire in the wandering soul,
a spark that refuses to sleep.
It rises in storms, in broken roads,
in promises too heavy to keep.

It’s the pulse that drums in restless hands,
the echo behind every choice,
the whisper that says run again
in a brave and trembling voice.

You may stumble through your own shadows,
you may shatter and rebuild,
but your spirit—wild, unbroken—
remains a force the world can’t still.

So chase the horizon’s daring edge,
let your courage turn the wheel.
A life is not a life at all
unless the heart refuses to kneel.

The eternal human spirit will always seek. Yet it must stop fighting, and that requires greater courage. For God embraces it invisibly and constantly. Very beautifully written, and it touches the soul deeply. :)
