A bit of the aura of the warm hint of a new rose
Will hug the hand that does give of the rose
Mix with a dab of the soft kiss of the dew of morn
Add a dash of sun as its wee rays peek over the hill
To find a way to hug the hand that does give
That kind hand will oft give of self and of love
So very much is said about love
Yet in the end
All that sits at the crux of it all
Is the kind and pure true joy of self
That will give with joy and love
And does not
Lift the left hand for a tit for tat from them who gets
Self-less, a word of many a part
That says I give to you with free will
With not a wish or will for self
We live each day in love of self
Self-love is in a tear hid deep in joy
Joy that is in the gift of life
To give of self and bask in the give
That does not need a pat on the back
That is the true gift of love!
Love is kind
Love does not wish ill
Any that be who says any less
Has not felt or did ever know
Real and true Love!
