A creepy second Hand shop buy
The Haunted Mirror
She found it in a quiet shop,
its golden frame dulled down by dust.
A relic from some grander time,
too fine to leave, too cheap to trust.
That night, while wrapped in slumber’s hold,
a knocking stirred her from her rest.
Soft at first, then sharp and quick,
her breath grew tight within her chest.
She checked the door, no soul stood near.
Yet still the knocking sound again, and again.
She turned and gasped, her blood ran cold,
a woman’s face stared back at her.
A grey-skinned ghost with hollow eyes,
her bony fingers rapped the glass.
“Let me out,” she softly wailed,
A“Trapped so long, too long has passed.”
With shaking hands, she fled next door,
her neighbor woke, his face went pale.
Together, hearts like beating drums,
they grabbed the mirror took it out side.
At dawn, they dragged it back to the shop.
Too big, she said, it doesn’t fit my house.
And as she left, she muttered low,
No more secondhand buying for me.
I’m done buying tat for good.
