Im a firm believer in sounds being the language of the universe, and ive always had a habit for humming the tunes thats in my head, ever since I could remember. As I grew up, there's always been an intrest of harmonious sounds such as pianos, strings, and the energy that an 808 bass gives off. Living in poverty for most of my 20s, and being trapped in my own city, ive done alot of exploring. Stayed at a shelter for a while, which had a grand piano in the corner of the building. When I get drawn to things that peak my interest, I tend to follow my intuition. Any piano I lay eyes on, becomes a magnet to me. As I sit down in front of 88 keys, I have the slightest clue on how to read music notes. Therefore, I play by ear, and that was the first time I ever touched a piano. Being a well mannered shy person, I look up to see if im disturbing anyone. Turns out that people were interested in listening to me play random songs that I've made up. They seemed to have more admiration of my playing, than whatever they were doing. I was just as shocked, that I had a natural talent of being able to create those types of sounds. As the notes and chords I pressed gave me a dreamy vibe, I close my eyes and keep playing. Not only I was just simply using my coping mechanism to escape reality, but I also soothed the ears of the whole building. As if I was creating a trance. Moments like those, lead me to believe that, in a world full of negativity, there's still beautiful souls out there that can bring peace and harmony amongst a unity of people who goes through rough times. Balance, free love, and positive vibes can help the world feel better. I know that if I dont have anything else, im able to bring peace upon a place full or war. With a touch of magic, imagination and inspiration, music can sensitized and spiritualize any soul it touches.
