The Gym? Yeah… Soon.
The will is there. The action? Still buffering.

Me: “Tomorrow, for sure.”
Gym: “You said that yesterday.”
Listen. I want to start. Really, I do.
I can already picture it—me, fit, thriving,
looking like I actually know what a protein shake is.
But the starting part? Yeah… that’s tricky.
Gym: “Just one workout. You’ll feel amazing.”
Me: “Mmm. But will I?”
Gym: “Yes!”
Me: “Counterpoint: I could also not.”
I scroll past gym influencers on my feed.
Watch a few motivational videos.
For a moment, I feel inspired.
Maybe I should go today—
Oh. Wait. The week already started.
Can’t start on a random Wednesday. That’s chaos.
Gym: “Literally no one cares what day it is.”
Me: “I’ll start fresh Monday.”
Monday comes. Monday goes.
Tuesday arrives, uninvited.
I look at my gym bag in the corner.
Untouched. Unbothered.
I’ll get there eventually… probably.
Gym: “You’re running out of excuses.”
Me: “Oh, trust me. I have plenty left.”
Every week, I tell myself I’ll start. Every week, I don’t. It’s not that I don’t want to work out—I just need, like… a little push. Or a sign. Or maybe a national holiday to reset my energy. If you, too, have ever made a gym plan that never left the group chat of your mind—congratulations. We’re in this together.
