The Great House of Colors
Gleaming bright with banners blowing,
Green now unfurled announcing
Spring sap is goodly flowing.
Within that House a Great Queen,
raiment adorned with dandelion
and diamond dews,
sits in prismatic pageantry.
Blue the color of her coat
She wears to charge into the night,
Red the color of her roar
As she passes from our sight,
In the black and milky sea
Are stars shining, broken, breaking,
Purple the color of starclouds
Her wisdom in the airs
The Great House of Colors,
color wheels carousing
in deep grounding browns emerging greens:
bear blossoms even now only once to ever see.
