The Girl Unseen

A 7 Stanza Haiku

By Steve RobertsonPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

Once upon a time,

There was a girl, not mine, she

She came in a dream.

-

And I could not find,

Or recall a time, where we,

Meeting she to me,

-

So The Girl Unseen,

Would haunt me in my dreams, her

Her grace, none compared.

-

And I dared to go,

All the places that I know,

No better I fared,

-

But more I cared, so

This obsession I do sing,

How much longer though?

-

For I have forseen,

A Girl Unseen and I cling,

To bring, this nightmare

-

To a final close,

The Girl Unseen, will she see,

How I love her so?
