The Girl by the Window
Where a smile, a cat, and the morning light meet

She leans by the window, the daylight pours in,
A quiet beginning, where soft dreams begin.
The trees in the garden are swaying with grace,
Yet brighter the glow that shines on her face.
A white cat she cradles, so gentle, so near,
It purrs like a whisper the soul loves to hear.
Its fur like the snow, its eyes full of skies,
It mirrors the calm that lives in her eyes.
Her laughter unspoken, her smile is the song,
That carries the morning and drifts it along.
No riches, no jewels, no crowns made of gold,
Can match the sweet story her moment has told.
The world can be noisy, uncertain, unkind,
But peace has a home in her heart and her mind.
She teaches the simple, the pure, and the true:
That joy often lives in the simplest view.
So here by the window, with sunshine so mild,
The girl and her cat share a world undefiled.
Two lives intertwined in a bond made of light,
A portrait of love in the soft arms of night.
