The Golden Cage

A time in the past with high stone walls,

A princess sat with tearful eyes.

She harbored love for the son of a pauper,

But the web of fate could not be untied.

She was placed in a cage of gold and lace

"Duty before love.

But in the quiet of time, their love blossomed,

Blew away the melancholy

But that road leading to the abyss

The road that seemed to last forever

We go on

The sacrifice of a king's life

The flame of love burns endlessly

Though chained, the heart burns,

Love, forever, handed down.
