The Gates Were Quiet In Heaven
Beyond them was like a picture book story

The Gates Were Quiet In Heaven
The gates were quiet
not carved with pride,
just standing open
clean and wide.
No echo rang
no sky was stirred,
yet somehow
every star was heard.
No guards in white
no trumpet sound,
just steady ground
and peace unbound.
A hush like truth
not meant to speak,
just met my eyes
and touched my cheek.
The path was worn
from many feet,
and every soul
still felt complete.,
No need to kneel
no need to cry,
just walked right in
wave you old life Goodbye.
