The Game

The objective of the The Game is --

to charge or move toward your opponent at a great rate of speed

and in turn, cause your opponent to veer away from your path

they will attempt to do likewise

whoever veers away first

loses the round

play to 5, win by 2

also known as Chicken when played with vehicles on the planet earth

The Game is, however, far more cosmic in proportion

Case in point --

Competitor #1 -- young but experienced in other games such as

Trouble Room jumping

known to occasionally get caught between rooms, but always

seems to recover

*

Competitor #2 -- close to retirement in the game of

Light Beam chasing

a poor overall record yet has occasionally shown

that competitive edge

*

An interesting match, or so we had hoped

In the very first round, neither of the competitors pulled away

thus running straight on and into each other

resulting in a massive particle explosion

making for a very big spectacle

though rather spectacular with all the

millions of glowing particles sailing everywhere
