The Frozen Nika

Vomitus Justice

By Luke WoodruffPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

In the depths of the Earth in a land far away,

A mysterious discovery was made.

It was frozen for centuries, long since forgotten,

It’s memory truly did fade.

Now one day explorers dug up the mystery,

And found that it had human form.

So they built a great fire, melting the ice,

Hoping to keep the being warm.

As a mark of great honor, they named the thing Nika,

Waking it with the fire’s heat.

But once it awoke, it vomited acid,

Knocking the explorers off their feet.

They sizzled and fried, dying in agony,

Til nothing was left but red slime.

And the Nika had exacted it’s vengeance upon them,

Paying them back for their crime.
