A few days later,
A ravenous hunger,
Awoke deep inside me.
Father told me,
This need to eat human flesh,
Is perfectly normal.
As time passed,
This need to feast etched,
Into the very core of my identity.
Finally,
In a small insignificant town,
Composed of only a few buildings,
The time came,
To hunt my first prey,
While my brothers and sisters,
Focussed on the more difficult vermin,
My target was an old lonely farmer,
Whose family died years ago,
As I snuck into his barnhouse,
I remembered what Father told me,
The key to hunting prey,
Was to first aim for the vocal cords,
So they could not alert anyone else,
The next target was the heart,
To aim for a quick kill,
After that everything else was fair game,
Everything went according to Father’s plan,
No prey was left alive,
Another meaningless town was wiped off the planet,
This was just the beginning,
Of what Father wanted me to accomplish.
