We try to force our existences to flow
Unfortunately our lives are rigid though
We make up our minds when it comes to life plans
But never accept the changes that are out of our hands
We try to force our flow to match the lives of others
Which gives us the illusion it’s ours when it’s others’ life structure
The viscosity of our lives relies solely on ourselves
However, we blame others when it’s our own contempt that we should be bidding farewells.
Too busy, too thick, too thin, not enough, our lives need a river-like flow,
Always moving forward, while staying calm, no matter what life offers below
I wish I could say all our lives have the fluidity they are owed
But unfortunately that mystery we still have yet to decode
