The Flame Within
Just when you think the embers within yourself have gone cold. She can breathe life.
Your touch set fire upon my skin
A fearsome blaze has started within
I've been sitting, waiting for my life to begin
All of a sudden with a lithe grace you landed in
Now I'm completely enveloped, wreathed in flame
But not a single cell of my being wants it to tame
This ember grown to bonfire screams to proclaim
That the reason for my heart's beat has a name
