The First Time Puppy Seen Snow

The puppy stepped out, his nose to the air,

A world of white sparkled everywhere.

Flakes danced and twirled, soft on his fur,

A magical wonder, a gentle blur.

His wide eyes gleamed, his tiny paws leapt,

Through fields of snow, he joyfully crept.

Each step a discovery, each breath a delight,

The world transformed, so pure, so bright.

He barked at the flakes as they fell from the sky,

A curious tilt to his head, asking why.

The cold kissed his nose, the frost hugged his feet,

Yet the wintery scene felt warm and sweet.

Oh, the puppy who saw snow for the very first time,

No need for words, no reason, no rhyme.

Just boundless delight in the frosty new glow,

A moment of magic in the blanket of snow.
