Why should I bother to vote in November?

My vote won't count; I am not a member,

A member of the elite society.

This system does not work for me.

The rich get richer every day;

The poor cannot seem to find their way.

So what will my vote do for me?

Can you give me a guarantee—

A guarantee that it will help to vote on that November day,

Or am I wasting my time?

My time is valuable, I say.

This is the mentality of so many people, my friends.

I cannot begin to pretend,

Pretend that I am satisfied with the world today.

Voting against those who do nothing for us is my way—

My way to make a change, a change that we need.

If I don't vote, the right people won't succeed.

So get out there and vote in the primaries and make a difference too.

A better world is up to you.
