The First Snowfall Brings Peace

It's an exciting day for us all.

By Darla M SeelyPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Feel peace during the first snowfall,

An exciting day for us all.

Plenty of things to do outside,

Our toboggans and sleds we ride.

We see our breath in the cold air;

Snow on branches that are bare.

Kids ride on inner tubes down hills.

This surely will give them some thrills.

The cold crisp breeze freezes our nose.

Freezing temps cause frostbite on toes.

Snowdrifts which are deep by the street;

Warm winter boots cover our feet.

Snowflakes softly fall on the ground.

Of course they do not make a sound.

Magical moments all around,

Icicles and frost can be found.

    I remember peaceful snowfalls when I lived in New England years ago.
