The First Kiss of a New Dawn

A Moment of Renewal and the Beginning of a Timeless Connection

By Masood ZahidPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

In the quiet hum of the breaking day,

Where shadows linger, yet fade away,

I felt the touch of something new,

A spark, a light—so pure, so true.

The world still slept beneath the skies,

But in your gaze, the dawn did rise.

A whispered promise on the breeze,

Carried softly with the ease of trees.

It wasn’t grand, nor loud, nor bright,

Just a tender kiss in the morning light.

A moment caught between two hearts,

Where time, for once, forgot its parts.

Your lips, a promise—quiet, sweet,

A new beginning, hearts that meet.

The sun peeked shyly through the clouds,

We stood as one, without the crowds.

And in that kiss, the world was still,

As if the earth knew time could heal.

The first kiss of a new dawn,

Where love begins, and life goes on.

A dawn that whispers of what's to come,

Of stories waiting, of battles won.

Of moments where our hearts entwine,

And in your kiss, I found mine.
