The false narratives of love
love differs for all individuals
The idea that in order to achieve love
you have to go through hell
is a false narrative
love comes in many forms
and cannot be confined
by a single one to explain what billions are feeling
love comes simple for some
attractions meet and so do their bonds
others have to lose themselves
or the one they’re trying so desperately to obtain
before they understand what it truly is
love is different for all
love cannot be compared
the love you have for a friend is not
the same love you have for a companion
the love your neighbour has for his wife
may not be the same love you have for yours
but at the end of the day
love is what you feel at the core of your being
so your form of love can only be experienced
and judged by you
