I think we limit our own potential
placing boundaries on ourselves
in fear of what we may encounter,
too afraid to venture out into the unknown
we enclose our perception
to generational ideals and traditions
that keep us grounded and extremely stagnant,
a safe haven it may be
however a fragment of what’s to be seen,
we are hopeful for the very environment that confined us
to one day gain the ability to change the looming fate we think truly
shapes our life,
an issue that can only be resolved in the pits of oneself.
