Fingers fidgeting,
Heart palpitating,
Voice trembling,
And words stuttering-
Yet, she finished her line,
Hoping that soon, all would be fine.
She spoke out against the injustice,
Though it was not her usual practice.
Now, she feels like a bird freed from a cage,
All thanks to ephemeral courage.
About the Creator
Qudsee
I write poetry that cuts through the noise. My words aren't wrapped in complexity; they are meant to be felt, understood, and remembered.
When I'm not lost in poetry, I pen short essays on the everyday truths of life.
