The heroes that don’t have super powers
Or capes or weapons are the ones who save
The day. CEO’s bleed through every hour.
They lay their lives on their work just to have.
In the comics, in the movies, the draw
Is: how unhuman can we make this man
Or woman? When there is still the good law
That protects citizens from wicked plans.
Military men and women serve, too.
Their fight is not a sacrifice but for
Values. There are still relatively few
Who laugh at fate and are hard to the core.
Businesspeople, cops, and warriors all
Negotiate when others choose to stall.
