The elusive nature of Motivation

Ever hiding in the shadows

By Antoni De'LeonPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

My dear, you wear so many masks

Hiding here, there and everywhere

Sometimes you steal away,

Yet I can sense you watching

Smiling at my vain efforts

My brain unable to grasp the words

To speak with grace and eloquence

Motivation, oh motivation. Where art thou.

High and low do I search for you

Upon the mountaintop

Down in the valley low

Still your face eludes my eyes

Visit me quite soon, my friend

My soul yearns for divine inspiration
