The Elemental

A Form of Life in Love and Strife

From untold fathoms,

the flow of thought, shape-shifting,

births lucid fancies.

Flesh, like bone, is hard;

a mountain and a pebble

pose the same riddle.

Eager to consume,

in each chamber burns a hearth.

Mastered, it gives light.

Nothingness is full:

holiness, inhaled, abounds.

Sealed eyes see through sight.

    This is so beautiful. I, like Maja, love the mountain and the pebble.

    You really have mastered the English language. I’m wondering if you entered this into the Quadru-Haiku challenge, and if you did, how did it not place? Brilliant!
