The Egyptian sands of time
The key to the past and the future

The Egyptian sands of time
The Egyptian sands of time unfold,
Where love lies carved in sunlit gold.
A silent kiss on statues worn,
A passion fierce, a heart forlorn.
Beneath the sky’s eternal glow,
Desire burns like embers slow.
The desert hums a soft refrain,
Of lovers lost, yet bound by pain.
The past is dust, but still it clings,
A curse of queens, a fate of kings.
Your touch, a ghost the wind revives,
Our love, a myth that still survives.
The hourglass spills its golden seams,
And love drifts by like faded dreams.
Mystical beauty, shifting sands.
Beautiful Egyptian sands.
