The Echoes of a Waiting Station: A Writer’s Journey through the Heart of Bengal
Finding stories in the rush of life and the aroma of station tea.

Life often feels like a crowded railway platform—full of noise, departures, and reunions. As a writer and a playwright, I have always found my best inspirations not in quiet rooms, but in the chaos of a busy station.
There is something magical about the golden hour at a Bangladeshi railway station. The sun setting behind the tracks, the distant fluttering of the national flag, and the steam rising from a cup of tea. In this picture, you see me—not just as a person, but as a soul trying to capture the transient emotions of thousands of travelers.
Every face passing by is a character. Every goodbye at the train door is a potential climax for a new drama.
“Waiting for a train that never arrives on time,
Seeking a rhythm in this world of prose and rhyme.
The station knows the weight of heavy hearts and bags,
Where stories are written on old, dusty rags.”
Writing is my way of preserving these fleeting moments. Whether it is a poem or a play, my heart beats for the simple lives of common people.
