Once it shone, with a light so bright

A star that danced, in the dead of night

Its beauty and grace, a celestial sight

A wonder of the heavens, pure and white

*

But time and age, have taken their toll

And now this star, has started to dull

Its radiance fading, with each passing day

Leaving behind, a sky that's gray

*

The dying star, its end so near

Its light now dim, its beauty in fear

Its last goodbye, to all below

A fading star, a celestial glow

*

It's time is up, its journey done

A life that once was, now gone

Its memory remains, a testament bright

To a star that shone, with all its might.
