The Dying House that Made me

Inspired by Frankenstein (with Mia Goth 2025) and Jane Eyre

"Night In The Red Room" by Esther Sarto

I’m

Desperate; I can’t dig deeper than how I was created, fastened together with embers that neither burned deep enough or melted me away quick enough

I’m a monster of man

A servant of wiles, snarling wolves that have eaten my starving insides to recreate womanhood

I’m so desperate for a touch that doesn’t feel rotten

Oh blood Raven Moon, you have tormented me as the crimson oils spill over my eyes

Eternal flames feel divine in my mouth as as if God Himself planted a ethereal seed to grow from my lungs

But all that comes out

Instead of love

Sweet, forgiving, cradling, soft love

is

Fire.

'A servant of wiles, snarling wolves that have eaten my starving insides to recreate womanhood'. I am not even sure I can articulate a comment that does this piece justice. Amazing work!

Intense but also uncertain, like you're finding your way. And that artwork? I mean, it's striking!
