Submerged Souls in the Sea of Social Media

In the quiet corners of our minds,

Where whispers used to dwell,

A storm now brews of likes and lines,

A digital, endless swell.

Eyes glued to screens, we drift away,

From faces, friends, and fields,

In virtual realms, our hearts we lay,

To data, we yield our shields.

The chirp of birds, the rustling leaves,

Now drowned by pings and beeps,

Our dreams entangled in tangled webs,

In coded currents, we sleep.

Connections lost in endless scrolls,

Where time slips through our grasp,

A hollow echo in our souls,

As we in shadows clasp.

Yet, beyond the glare, a beacon bright,

A call to hearts ensnared,

To lift our gaze, to seek the light,

To find our spirits spared.

For in the quiet, truth remains,

Unseen by fleeting feeds,

A world of wonder, free of chains,

Where true connection leads.

So rise, dear souls, from digital mist,

Reclaim the world so wide,

Let not your essence be dismissed,

By the digital tide.
