Tunneling:

Down Down Down

No light in sight

Following her snout

Like a beacon

Glowing and Growing

Earthen essence

Barium, Cadmium, Copper,

Iron and Manganese

Thunk! What the?

Metallic, Brassy, Slick

Bullet casing encrusted

Just keep Digging Digging Digging

Bonk!

Oily, Pitted, Smooth

Golf ball

Really?

Keep going…

Flipper-like paws

Powerful forelimbs

Sightless, flinging dirt

Smells in stereo

Driving her forward

Towards the glowing

Bioluminscence

On the hunt…

Smoosh…

Soft, Blubbery, Juicy

At last….

Earthworm wriggling?

Chunky glowing grub

Flailing like a wrapped mummy?

Chomp Chomp Chomp

Fat, Happy and Full

Life of a Mole

On a clear and moonless night
