The Delicate Weight Of Life
Gently Making Its Mark

goosebumps gather on my skin
where sunshine remnants left its mark
breezes brush the fine hair on my wrist
it gently whispers, "summer's here"
a subtle memory reappears
drawing your essence, crystal clear
like stars, I make a wish
the water rippling a lovely tune
the fragrant scents, fill up the room
the echos remind me of you
how can my heart resist
to pull them in and soak them up
collect them in a paper cup
all I need do is just look up
to receive heaven's kiss
the sun breaks through and parts the clouds
it comes in silence, holy, profound
afterall, that's what love's about
finding myself lost, to reminisce
