The Days Of Summer
Beach trip distractions we want to remember.
Daringly distractive as boys stumble over their feet
Innocently, they gather at the beach to beat the heat
Swimsuits and Daisy Dukes clinging to them all
Today it's nice enough not to be chasing them in a mall

Rolling down the beach to the distractions of summer
All of them free from the things that make life a bummer
Catching the rays and surfing the waves
Tired after a long day and seeking what a man craves

In search of something past the summer that matters
Only looking for something that never shatters
Never wanting those beautiful distractions of summer to end
