My mind could not comprehend;

The day you left too soon!

My heart stopped beating;

The day you left too soon!

My eyes saw things differently;

The day you left too soon!

My arms were eerily empty;

The day you left too soon!

My feet could not carry me forward;

The day you left too soon!

My stomach was tied in knots;

The day you left too soon!

My World stopped revolving;

The day you left too soon!

My mouth could only moan in anguish;

The day you left too soon!

There was only darkness;

The day you left too soon!

No music could be heard;

The day you left too soon!

There was only void and darkness;

The day you left too soon!

Questions left unanswered;

The day you left too soon!
