SIMPLICITY

As a child life is simple;

Your needs are met by those who care.

You play, you eat, you learn, you sleep;

All basic needs fulfilled by those who care about you.

As a teenager life gets a little more complicated;

You are starting to explore more life has to offer.

You feel more, you learn more, your basic needs are greater;

You fight back, you rebel!

As an adult life takes on many forms;

The up-side: you love, you laugh, you grow emotionally, spiritually, even physically.

The down-side: there's betrayal, anguish, loss, physical, emotional and spiritual .

I can not write the final chapter on life;

I have not yet reached that stage.

I can however, adapt the stage I am currently in to what I want it to be.

I know there are certain lessons of life I can not avoid;

I can decide how to live the rest of it and what I want to take from it!

I choose the simplicity of youth;

I will continue to grow, learn, explore and appreciate life with a childlike zeal!

I will give back as much love, friendship, compassion and positive energy as I can!

Life doesn't have to be complicated;

Find your life path!!
