The day the music ceased to play

The music left but the Angels stayed

The day the music ceased to play

The day the music ceased to play,

A shadow fell, so cold and gray.

The melodies that lit the skies

Faded into silent sighs.

The angels, once so near, so bright,

Took their leave into the night.

Their wings no longer brushed the air,

Their whispers gone, no presence there.

In the silence, soft and slow,

A seed of hope began to grow.

For even when the light seems far,

The angels linger where we are.

Though silent now, their love remains,

A song that soothes the deepest pains.

And in our hearts, their chords replay—

The music lives, though gone, they stay.

A poem that seems kind of insightful on choices. Good job.
