The Day I Remembered Eternity

Blind Fluor-essence

By Heidi Johnson Published 5 years ago 1 min read
Right here.

The day I remembered eternity

I left my mind, sectioned off but not over-thought

What’s been forgotten instead of taught

Everything inside

that reminded me of my sanity.

Time slows but my breath quickens

I know now how the book ends..

The sun turns once more

The clock is clever..

And the second it turns to never

Is when we live forever.

Everything turned black

Then white

I became fluorescent

Fluid without any sort of form

Only breathing uninhibited movement

I saw the end of time

And where it all began

I blink.

What can we even define

Seconds so divine

they stand outside of time.

The paradox

Of which no one talks..

Mind blind

Appearances lie

Wilderness of bright endless light

Everything heavy in my mind takes flight

Echoes in a cave

Our body’s incepting maze

I fall into this new way..

Secrets and signs

Numbers and rhymes

Upside down and all around

A hidden kind of sound.

Ecstasy and expression

The present moment and intention

Underneath and up above

Freedom and telepathic love.

The beautiful and simple

The abstract and complex

It all coincides

Every molecule ceases to exist

Every color melts into one

It all is.

Out of the midst.

The infinite orb of light no longer hides

At last everything aligns.

And I am no longer blind.
