The Corrupt Ones

The Wealthy Thieves

By Tamseela FarooqPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Subtle whispers fill the air,
Promises made without a care,
The politicians speak with ease,
Their words just sweet melodies.

They're masters of deceit and lies,
Feeding on the people's cries,
Their pockets deep with stolen wealth,
While the poor struggle with their health.

The corrupt ones rule the land,
With dirty money in their hand,
The nation's future they destroy,
Their greed and power they employ.

They live in luxury and splendor,
While the people suffer in surrender,
Their hearts devoid of empathy,
Their souls consumed by apathy.

But we must rise and take a stand,
Against the corrupt ones in command,
We must fight for justice and truth,
And reclaim our nation's youth.

Let us unite and raise our voice,
And make the corrupt ones pay the price,
For the sake of our country and our kin,
Let us fight until we win.
