The Caged Bird Soars

There once was a girl, so passionate and true,
With talents and dreams that she longed to pursue,
But her life was a cage, full of taunts and restrictions,
Her wings clipped by others' limiting convictions.

She yearned to fly free, to chase her heart's desire,
But the voices around her only fueled the fire,
"Stay in your place, don't rock the boat,
Stick to the script, don't dare to gloat."

Yet she couldn't ignore the call of her soul,
And so she worked hard to break from the mold,
She studied and practiced, day after day,
Determined to find her own unique way.

And then one day, she emerged from her cage,
With wings spread wide, she took center stage,
Her talents on full display, her passion burning bright,
The crowd watched in awe, as she soared to new heights.

And in that moment, the taunts were silenced,
The restrictions lifted, the doubts vanished,
For they could see what she had always known,
That the caged bird had finally flown.

To clip others' wings, to limit and deny,
For true passion and talent will always find a way,
To break free from the cage, and soar to a brighter day.
