The Convenience Store
Where My Love Is Nothing More Than A Product
Welcome, welcome!!
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
We have plenty of items in stock. Right now, the best seller is in the "Unconditional Love" section, but feel free to browse around!
And, if you don't see anything you like, you are more than welcome to take any item, as long as you leave trauma behind.
Thank you for shopping with us and we hope to see you again real soon!
It's safe to say that that has been my experience in life.
I am a convenience store,
in stock, was my humanity, which has been taken from me and left a shell of what was once human.
I am only ever used to fulfill the needs of others,
when I don't have what is needed, I am not a thought in the mind of the shopper.
I am a convenience store,
I only exist because shoppers have allowed me to exist,
but that feels like it is going to be changing.
My doors are permanently closed, and the building is being demolished. There will be only the memories of the store that once existed.
Only then does the store get remembered,
when it doesn't exist.
I am a convenience store,
my products are all out of stock, but left behind is the spoiled, rotten, and unwanted goods.
The wrappings of memories and forgotten promises,
the unwanted trauma and coping mechanisms,
all left for my staff to clean,
but they are all gone.
As the years went by and the doors remained open, I was reminded that doors are both an entrance,
and an exit.
I am a convenience store,
I served my purpose as much as I could, but sales were not up to par,
and I am out of business.

Love to see you processing things like this! This is a clever metaphor.
Whoaaa, this hit me so hard because it was extremely relatable. I'm so sorry the people in your life made you feel this way. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
I feel like my love would be expired...but still edible! 😉
