Colour me bad

Or colour me good

It’s not any of my business

Eye for colour

And hands that cut

No interest in gossip

To paint the picture

I paint you

Entirely to help you feel

Fun, wild and free

Colour the hair to swatch

Paint the nails

Whatever keeps you out of the strains

Be you on the outside

Keep you fireside

Is my intent to make you feel alive

Or just to keep you satisfied?

A myriad of one thousand hues

To help you be you

To understand your underlying pigment

So you don’t throw gold

Because you are the gold

Every texture, Every strand

Elasticity and glam

Whatever it is you keep inside

Show the world on your outside

Finally everyone can see

You

Your inside out

In the best way

Shiny and bright like a little girls smile

You dance, play and float

Sending you back to the times of old

When you felt so young and bold

I will help you shift

A lifetime of darkness

By lifting the shades

allowing the sunlight

And the colours caress your mind

This is my gift to you.
