The Colors of My Life

Borderline Personality Disorder

By Angela WoodsPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Bright, bi, beautiful, bold, broken, blue.

Obedient, obliging, offbeat, overlooked, orange.

Radiant, rakish, resilient, rejected, rose.

Demure, dependent, distressed, dichotomous, dandelion.

Encouraging, empathetic, egalitarian, elegiac, emerald.

Reliable, resilient, rebellious, reprehensible, red.

Logical, lascivious, laudable, likeable, lavender.

Independent, impetuous, indecisive, introverted, indigo.

Native, nervous, nonpartisan, numb, nude.

Earnest, eager, effervescent, envious, ecru.

Perfectly passionate

Ever confused

Reality Stricken

Sore to lose

Onward and upward

Never falling

A little lost

Lacking a calling

Intensely protective

True to a fault

Yet broken inside - with a dash of salt.

Darkness

Inside

So much light

Often off track

Remembering my plight

Desperate for color to

End the gray- longing for

Revolution at the end of the day.
